Presently the Corregidor Middleside Barracks are undergoing a rehab project and it is hotly debated, see the above URL.
The URL below has more information on the subject. I shows the plan of the work and what has been done already in before and after pics.
I received the below URL from the webmaster of the Hellships Memorial in Subic Bay.He has linked all the current links on the subject in his forum section.

Here are updated,recent pics from the Middleside Barracks.

A good friend of mine, Tom Aring from Texas, visited Corregidor two times recently; Dec 2006 and Jan 2007, both times for 10 days.
He took only a few pictures and asked me to share them. This album is exclusively for the pictures from the Middleside Barracks. They are of interest to the present discussion about the restoration project by the authorities.

A friend, Tom Aring, visited Corregidor Dec 2006 and asked me to share his pictures. They show some of the 2006 Typhoon Season damage. They also show a historical point in the ‘Mile Long Barracks’. They touch on the continuous ‘break down’ of the barracks due to ‘Time’
