SM is ShoeMart North shopping mall in Manila. SM is THE biggest shopping mall empire all over the Philippines.
The Lady in Green is SM President and Mrs Sy wife of the owner of SM Mega Empire. Perry mentioned she stayed a lot longer for the photoshoot with the Reenactors, which was very different as she would have no time for photos but today was a unique exception she made. Three cheers for the Manila Chapter!
At least the group got paid decently for their participation in this event! A very rare and welcome token gesture specially in events in the Philippines. A drop in the bucket for SM empire.
BTW two of our PS Manila chapter members are also the main organizers of one of the biggest Anime Cosplay convention and another Toy convention held yearly in Manila.

...last one. The exhibit has several hundred WWII-era photos in the Philippines, from both sides: American & Japanese. One set focuses on the timeline (1941 to 1945) and the other set the different massacres in the Philippines - the Tsinoys, Manila, Laguna, Batangas & Cebu etc. Pls drop by if you can - its free and open to the public.
