Hey Vic....These shots had to be pre-World War I, doncha think? ? I can't find one gasoline driven vehicle anywhere and the long white dresses worn by the womenfolk at the Park??? would indicate something like 1908-10, methinks. This is good stuff and belongs on the website, as you say.

I think they may even be earlier than that. I like the mother with two kids. They're actually "ironing" clothes.

The photo of the American officer commanders and general staff, has Gen. Otis in blue coat and side-whiskers on his face. As he was replaced by MacArthur as Governor in 1899, that photo at least must be of 1898; as I think it includes Gen. Lawton to left. My Wife's cousin still has a wooden block & roller for ironing outside there home on the porch. -David
