Heres a photo I'd like share with this group. 4th Battalion PS at Albay with Mt Mayon in the background. Im sure some of you have seen this, but not one at this high a quality(click bottom link). Enjoy! Extra large poster size: fototime.com/0538AAA2CBB710D/orig.jpgI like to use it as my computer wallpaper. ;D

If I am not mistaken this is a view taken in Legaspi ( Old Albay area ) in what could be now known as Camp Ibalon. To the right would be Linon Hill ( Linion ) and at the foot of the hill is the current Legaspi airport. Just a lucky guess

Dimasalang
Thanks great shot. To bad the one they show of the 26th cav on parade grounds could not be this clear. Would love to see more detail of that photo like this one.
Again thanks for posting.

Here it is restored and enhanced for you guys. Due to the high res details that one trumpet Band member sixth row from the last is staring straight at the camera. Philip

Wow! This is clearer. This is too close to the hill to be Camp Ibalon. This is more likely in the area of the present day Legaspi airport.

Philip I think the link I previously posted is a little bit more enhanced then this pic. ;D Don't wont to post it up as it is excessively large. Here it is again in case anyone missed it. fototime.com/0538AAA2CBB710D/orig.jpg

original image (detail) poor & dirty, only a bigger file restored, cleaned and enhanced quality of the same detail - the forum features cannot post a much more clearer image quality. enhanced - increased or intensified in value or beauty or quality; "careful cleaning was responsible for the enhanced value of the painting" en·hanced, en·hanc·ing, en·hanc·es1. To make greater, as in value, beauty, or effectiveness; augment. 2. To provide with improved, advanced, or sophisticated features: I hope this helps clarify and just want to share an "enhanced" image for everyone. I will email anyone wants the restored, cleaned up and enhanced jpeg image as it is a large file. just let me know. Philip

You originally "enhanced" the smaller picture I provided. I would think people would be more interested in the larger photo...which I would say is still "enhanced" being it is extremely detailed. You can poster'ize the enlarged image and it still would be highly detailed in image...you couldn't do that with your enhanced image from your previous post as it still to small for a poster(it would come out grainy). Why not just enhance the enlarge photo and post up a link to share with the world, as I already have with this photo.
Anyways... Your welcome.

PHILIP; I AGREE WITH DIMASALANG. THE ORIGINAL HE POSTED TO ENLARGE IS FANTASTIC. YOU CAN SEE THE GUYS FACE YOU MENTIONED WITHOUT ENHANCEMENT.
oops, sorry capital letters to tired to change. goodnight.

Rudy,
Yes I know the link to enlargement is big and great. But I was able to improve on it as you can see it has all those dirt and damage.
I could have added in the link to my enhance version from my photohosting site with the same size if I wanted too but was not necessary. I could only post what the forum image size capabilities could accept. But if you need the bigger size image as I said just let me know.
BTW I did not use that small sample photo you posted and think I used to enhance.
Philip
