Well done Ray. He really looks smart in his West point gray. All great shots and angles.
No puttees for the Commonwealth PA or PC? NO Cavalry?

Hell Philip:
He was just visiting before Ray forced him into putting on most of his closet. He probably just wanted to drink San Miguel beer. haha
Appreciate what was sent to us.
I hope all is well over yonder and when you get this, is it Christmas or is it coming?
Peace my Friend

Hey there Philip!......Kamusta na ang pinas? Doggone I wish I was there right now to help the AFP come up with a rational and sane looking parade uniform, reintroduce the guint, leggings, khaki uniform and so on, now at at time it seems they're looking to make changes.
I will be there tough in time for any April 9, 2010 commemoration thing going. Hopefully there will be someting the AFP brass will be needing reenactors again by then.
Ha, ha, yeah I just schlepped all these uniforms together in a rush. I couldn't find my putees and other knick-knacks, insignias, etc. What I really wanted to feature is an authentic pre-ww2 U.S. Army enlistedman's Type A khaki jacket and gabardene cavalry pants. If you remember I bought it at ebay a couple of years ago and it was tailored for a slim meduim height soldier.
I even tried experimenting with a German pickelhaube, rayadillo jacket combination but it din't look too good.
Anyways, glad you ya'll liked he pics. Happy Hollidays Captain Rudy and Philip.

Hi Ray,
Great I will try and make it there before April 9 commemorations with the Fort McKinley Manila Chapter of the Scouts too.
Have visited Rico and met some of the guys! Planning a Corregidor pilgrimage and photoshoot soon.
Some things they badly need here with the reenactors if you guys could donate any;
- fiberglass reproduction of the barrel, bolt and chamber housing for a Springfield late version. badly needed by Col Aguilars men
- single button mess kit pouch cover for Perry
Hi Rudy,
Yes finally got one and even the 43rd IR rare one of a kind DI pin too. Still waiting for it in the mail.
