Here's a roommate of mine; a weapon-less enlisted guy. =) Helmet's wrong. I have to have it stripped, re-textured and repainted, and get it a proper liner and strap kit. M-1910 FAP got hidden by an extra meatcan pouch acting as a util pouch, there's a piece of plastic peeking below the haversack main compartment hahah (it's where I stuffed the EM's shirt/pants khakis, entrenching tool cover is incorrect date-wise (it's 1942-dated), and his undershirt's showing. Thanks to jabidah again for the pics. He helped me lug/move the whole thing around without dismantling, too, which would've been a real pain. Edit: Added pics

Mish that is absolutely fantastic! Congrats on your collection. What's next on your purchase list? Thanks, Vic. That tabletop mannequin's been up since Sept., 08, but I got sidetracked from PS stuff. It's just now that I'm getting back (getting to watch Shootout's Bataan/Cabanatuan episode helped a lot hahah). I want to build a 6th Rangers display and am trying to decide whether to rotate this particular mannequin with new uniform/gear or just keep my Scout and go find another display anchor. Re next purchase, probably a weapon of some sort. The guy just looks... naked without arms.

thats a nice set up, is that a M1917 helmet or 1917A1 ? Thanks, bolo. The helmet's neither. Going by the stampings, it's post-war Dutch (or Belgian, I forget now) Civil Defense. It's something I picked up intending to have a nice project - transforming it into a workably-correct helmet for a Philippine Scout display. I never really got around to following through on that project. Maybe now I will.
