I have been interested in the Constabulary for some time but I have become more interested in the Philippines military in general lately. For instance, here is a uniform from a PC Captain who fought on Bataan and survived the death march. Interestingly, he continued to serve in the Constabulary under the Japanese and was interred again at the end of the war by the Americans. Thus, he became a POW twice during the war and was released to continue to serve both times. He subsequently continued to serve into the 1950s when he retired. It is very interesting what these Filipino veterans went through during WWII.
Also, here is an example of a Philippine Commonwealth Army sword from this 1935 time period. It is the standard US Model 1902 Army sabre except it has the American flag and the Commonwealth seal instead of the usual blade etch.
