Excellent impressions! Congratulations. If these are your test shots... I can't wait for the real photo shoot.
There's really not a whole lot missing... it's not like they were fully geared all of the time. Maybe you just need the m1905 bayonet and you're all set.

Fantastic work!
In the first top photo don't forget to photo shop retouch the black belt the guy standing is wearing were you can see the double snap first aid pouch.

Fantastic work! In the first top photo don't forget to photo shop retouch the black belt the guy standing is wearing were you can see the double snap first aid pouch. Philip Sir. are saying the two snap pouch is wrong? That appears to be a WW1 vinatge M1910 double snap pouch. These were not worn by the Scouts? Your help is appreciated. -kalbs-

Hi Kalbs, he's saying there's a black belt visible underneath it, instead of a khaki enlisted man's belt. The first aid pouch is correct. Just used as a point of reference.

Thanks guys! appreciate the comments.
That belt that i was wearing was actually 'light olive' in color, it somehow turned very dark in the process of manipulating the colors. i'll try and retouch the belt color in photoshop...if i can make it look good, i'll change the 1st pic..
And i just want to thank VeeVee for his BIG HELP in getting some of the gear that we need.

I just had an idea... since your garands are airsoft, what if you try to catch a photo of the ejecting clip (after a last shot) as another version of this picture? You know... stage the picture and load the clip with just one BB and try to take the picture as the clip comes flying out.

Question.....the machine gun photo shows a metal can ammo box. Was this already used at this time?? I believe it still should be the older model wooden type? Not sure...comments?

Very good point there about the ammo box guys. Thanks for that info and all the comments. i will keep those info in mind when we do our next PS impression photo op. and more importantly, i will let you guys check it first for comments before we post it in other forums.
This really is the 'place' to learn more about these info and details...just keep those questions and comments coming.
Vee, the pic you posted must be a training photo or something, as i can see that it does not have the water hose and can. i am just wondering about the gunner's boots...they dont look like leggings...cav boots maybe?

Yes that was a training photo of 26th cavalrymen. (notice no patches)
We just wear the patch as reenactors' license for the living history educational value.
