Hi folks, I'll be sharing a whole lot more images soon but here is some footage of the reenactment battle staged on April 8. It was entered under Layac junction on the interaksyon web site but actually the battle featured a screening action by the 26th cavalry and the japanese assault on Abucay against the 57th Inf (PS) and the 41st Infantry (PA). More as it comes in! www.youtube.com/watch?v=EnEgL2Xgyrw&feature=player_embedded#!

Nicely done, Albert!
BTW, I had to keep Tad awake in the car on the way back to Manila. If he tells you some weird stories, these were my best attempts to keep him falling asleep at the wheel.

A great time had by all! It would be nice to edit in some of the scenes from the other Reenactment event of 'The Abacay Line' and put on one DVD, don't you think? I would personally then be willing to show it to the students at the University in Angeles City. DVD's could also be on sale at the Army Museum in Stotsenburg Parade Ground and elsewhere. i am attempting once more to obtain small wooden carved figures of 26th US Cav. I have request an Igorot wood carver to make some samples about 4inches high for me.
